Don’t let your next brand photoshoot suck

Picture this. You’ve just gotten your shiny new photos back from your latest brand photoshoot. You think they’re great (oh how I hate this word. It often means NOTHING).

But then you show them to a photographer friend and their reaction is…

*crickets*

Or they take too long to form a response.

And if you’re face-to-face?

Ouch. You can SEE that they don’t like them!

Chances are… you’re gonna shrug and use the photos anyway. You’ll think “they’re fine!” Besides, you’ve spent all that money.

Photos are gonna fill the spaces that you need them to fill — on your website, on your social media, in your articles… and you won’t even know what you’re missing out on.

Most of your friends are gonna compliment you on the photos you shared on your Facebook feed, and move on with their day. That’s what we do on Facebook. It’s all *rah-rah* on social media.

Your photos are the filler of the space but nothing more. But that’s not even the worst case. The worst case is when they actually work against you!

Here’s what’s most likely to have happened.

Most people can’t tell who’s good at photography, and who just got a shiny new website, or is just paying for SEO and you can find them on the 1st page. So they go and hire the wrong photographer in the 1st place. And then they don’t communicate to them what’s needed, because most of the time — *NEWSFLASH* — they don’t even KNOW what they need.

And did you know that most people have no idea how we process the photo on the unconscious level? What we THINK we see in a photo is only a tip of the iceberg! What we ACTUALLY see in the photo is under that waterline, in the murky depths of our unconscious. So your images must be planned well, if you are relying on them in your business.

This is where I come in. I bridge the gap between you and your branding photog. We review everything from body language to props, wardrobe and locations. Heck — I can even help you find a good photog!

Check the new packages that I minted this Spring — there’s something there for everyone. From just the shot list, or mood board to full on brand review and brand book compilation.
